Basil-Sanctum 11. Basil Oil : (Ocimum Sanctum) – The oil is steam distilled from the leaves & flowering tops of Basil. Basil Sanctum is cultivated in India. The oil is colorless to pale yellow in color and has a spicy, punjent and herbaceous odor. It is used in perfumery, flavors, aromatherapy, pharmaceuticals and cold rub oils etc.
Bergamot 12. Bergamot Oil : (Citrus aurantium) – The oil is expressed from the peel (rind) of Bergamot Orange. It is native to Italy & South East Asia. The oil is pale yellow in color and has a warm citrus odor. It is used in perfumery, cosmetics & aromatherapy.
Bergamot Oil Bergaptene Free 13. Bergamot Oil Bergaptene Free : The oil is expressed from the peel (rind) of Bergamot Orange. This variety is little different from the regular bergamot oil because of the absence of bergaptene in it. Bergaptene is toxic in nature and has phototoxic effects on the skin. Bergaptene free oil is considered to be a more safer and better if it has to be used in cosmetics and aromatherapy.
Betel Leaf Oil 14. Betel Leaf Oil : (Piper betel) – The oil is steam distilled from the leaves of Betel Plant. It is native to India. The oil is yellowish brown in color and has a smoky aroma. It is used in pharmaceuticals specially in ayurvedic medicines.
Black Pepper Oil 15. Black Pepper Oil : (Piper Nigrum) – The oil is steam distilled from the dried seeds of Black Pepper Oil. It is native to South India. The oils is pale yellow to brown in color and has a sharp, strong and spicy odor. It is used in perfumery, flavors, pharmaceuticals and aromatherapy.
