Sandalwood 6. Amyris Oil : (Amyris balsamifera) – The oil is steam distilled from the wood of Amyris. It grows in the Caribbean area and along the Gulf of Mexico. The oil is pale yellow in color and has a woody & Balsamic note. It is also referred to as West Indian Sandalwood Oil. It is used in perfumery as a fixative, pharmaceuticals and flavors.
Bay 7. Bay Oil : (Laurus nobilis) – The oil is steam distilled from the semi dried leaves of Bay. It grows in India & West Indies. The oil is pale yellow in color and has a herbaceous and woody odor. It is used in aromatherapy, flavors, perfumery, pharmaceuticals & Pain Balms etc.
Balsam Tolu Oil 8. Balsam Tolu Oil : (Myroxylon balsamum) – The oil is steam distilled from the gum resin of balsam tolu. It is native to South America. The oil is pale amber to brown in color and has rich, sweet, balsamic and vanilla like odor. It is used in perfumery and pharmaceuticals.
Birch Tar Oil 9. Birch Tar Oil : (Betula alba) – The oil is steam distilled from the tar which is produced from the bark of Birch Tar Tree. It is originated in Russia. The oil is dark brown in color and has a smoky odor. It is used in pharmaceuticals.
Basil Oil 10. Basil Oil : (Ocimum Basilicum) – The oil is steam distilled from the leaves & flowering tops of Basil. Basil is cultivated in India. The oil is pale yellow in color and has a fresh, strong and herbaceous odor. It is used in perfumery, flavors, aromatherapy and pharmaceuticals.
