Carrier Oils and Base Oils

Almond 1. Almond Oil Sweet : (Prunus amygdalus dulcis) – It is cold pressed from the sweet almond kernel. Sweet Almond is grown in India, USA and Spain. The oil is colorless to pale yellow in color and is almost odorless. It is used in aromatherapy, food products and cosmetics.
Apricot 2. Apricot Kernel Oil : (Prunus armeniaca) – It is cold pressed from the apricot kernel. Apricot is grown in India and Spain. The oil is colorless to pale yellow in color and is almost odorless. It is used in aromatherapy and cosmetics.
Avocado 3. Avocado Oil : (Persea gratissima) – It is cold pressed from the Avocado kernel. Avocado is grown in South America and Spain. The oil is pale yellow to yellow in color and is almost odorless. It is used in aromatherapy and cosmetics.
Alovera 4. Aloe-Vera Gel : (Aloe barbadensis) – It is extracted from the fully grown leaf of aloe vera plant. Aloe Vera plant is grown in Somalia and India. The gel is colorless to pale yellow in color and has a vegetable like and leafy odor. It is used as a base in aromatherapy and cosmetics.
Benzoin 5. Benzoin Oil : (Styrax benzoin) – It is extracted from the solvent extraction of the gum resin of Benzoin tree. Benzoin tree is grown in Java and Thailand. Benzoin oil is golden brown to amber in color and has a sweet and warm odor. It is used in cosmetics and aromatherapy.
